BOSTON, Mass. – On Saturday, September 15, several members of the Wentworth men's and women's basketball teams took part in the Second Annual Boston College Coaches vs Cancer 5K Classic.

The Boston College Coaches vs Cancer 5K Classic is a part of a nationwide collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) that empowers basketball coaches, their teams, and local communities to make a difference in the fight against cancer.

Now in its second year, the race is coordinated by Boston College Head Men's Basketball Coach Steve Donahue and his staff and the course takes runners through the Boston College campus and around the Chestnut Hill Reservoir. Wentworth's men's basketball team took part in this event last season, while this was the first season the Leopard women's basketball team participated.

Leopard student-athletes helped to make the day a success by raising well over $500 for this worthy cause.
