Draper Named CCC Rookie of the Week

BOSTON, Mass. – After helping lead the Wentworth Institute of Technology ice hockey team to a 2-0-1 week, freshman goalie Thomas Draper (Binghamton, N.Y.) has been named the league's rookie of the week. Draper earns the honor for games played from November 12-18.

Draper played 185 of a possible 185 minutes, posting a 1.95 goals against average and a .928 save percentage. In a pair of conference wins over Western New England, he stopped a combined 48 of 51 shots for a .941 save percentage and a 1.50 goals against average. He also had 29 saves in a 3-3 tie against Anna Maria.

On the season he sports a 3-3-3 record with a 2.96 goals against average and a .892 save percentage having appeared in all nine of Wentworth's games.

The 3-3-3 Leopards (3-2-1 CCC) look to extend their unbeaten streak at Bowdoin on Saturday.
