BEVERLY, Mass. – After making his collegiate debut in men's tennis last week, junior Niko Rosich (Chicago, Ill.) of the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's tennis team earned recognition from the Commonwealth Coast Conference Monday afternoon. Rosich was named CCC Rookie of the Week, with the award being for matches played March 18-24.

In his first-ever collegiate match, a win over Rhode Island College, the junior helped the Leopards to a win at No. 3 doubles, 8-4, before taking a win at No. 6 singles, 6-2, 6-0. Four days later against Salem State, Rosich continued his hot start with an 8-0 win at No.3 doubles before clinching a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 6 singles.

The Black & Gold are 4-5 this season, riding a two-match win streak, and travel to Bridgewater State on Tuesday.
