BEVERLY, Mass. – After finishing fifth out of 17 teams at the Tufts Snowflake Classic last weekend, five student-athletes of the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's outdoor track and field team earned recognition from the Commonwealth Coast Conference league office Tuesday morning.

Junior Nate Muller (Concord, N.H.) was named CCC Field Athlete of the Week while the Leopards' 4x400 relay, consisting of freshman Gabe Silva (Wareham, Mass.), freshman Kenyon Colbert (Boston, Mass.), freshman Matt Murphy (Braintree, Mass.), and junior Scott Stehlik (Northport, N.Y.), earned CCC Relay of the Week honors. The awards are for meets from March 25-31.

Muller gave Wentworth one of their two first-place finishes on the day, earning the top finish in the pole vault with a 4.25M mark. His performance earned the Leopards 10 points.

The relay team of Silva, Colbert, Murphy, and Stehlik raced to a third-place finish, picking up six points along the way with a final time of 3:32.87. Their time was first among CCC competitors.

The Black & Gold compete next at the Jonathan Tymann Invitational, taking place at Gordon College on Saturday.
