Adams, Oshman, and LaBouliere Named AVCA All-Americans

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Three members of the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's volleyball team were named American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-Americans, as announced by the association Tuesday. Senior setter Connor Adams (Budd Lake, N.J.) and sophomore outside hitter Jacob LaBouliere (Pipersville, Pa.) were named First-Team AVCA All-Americans, and junior right-side hitter Hunter Oshman (Pennington, N.J.) earned an All-American Honorable Mention. The announcement marks the first time in program history that two Leopards have been named First-Team All-Americans.

The senior was named First-Team All-Conference in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) and was named to the GNAC All-Tournament Team, as Wentworth won the GNAC Championship for the third time and is making its fourth NCAA Tournament appearance.

LaBouliere was named to the first team after an outstanding sophomore season. He was named Player of the Year and First-Team All-Conference in the GNAC, and was named MVP of the GNAC Tournament. The sophomore set a new program record this year, currently sitting at 421 kills. He currently ranks sixth in the country in kills per set with 4.26, and ranks 15th overall in hitting percentage at .416. LaBouliere added 47 blocks and 153 digs this season as well, while playing in 32 matches for Wentworth this season.
