Harvey Named Honorable Mention All-TCCC

BOSTON, Mass. – After a record-setting performance during her junior season, Wentworth Institute of Technology softball player Lizz Harvey (McConnellsburg, Pa.) has been named Honorable Mention All-The Commonwealth Coast Conference.  The all-conference teams were announced after a vote of the league's 13 head coaches.

 

Harvey started all 37 games for the Leopards, batting .364 (39-for-107) with 11 doubles, nine home runs, 26 runs scored, and 37 runs batted in.  She established new single-season marks for games played, hits, doubles, home runs, and RBI, while posting the third-highest single season slugging percentage (.720) in program history.

 

Starting 97 of the 98 games she has played in during her career, Harvey has a career batting average of .357 (96-for-269) with 23 doubles, 17 home runs, 69 runs scored and 72 runs batted in.  She is the program's all-time leader in doubles, home runs, total bases (170), and assists (220), while holding the second highest batting average, slugging percentage (.632), and on-base percentage (.446).  Her 72 career RBI is also second on the program's all-time list.
