BOSTON, Mass. – Senior Jacob LaBouliere (Pipersville, Pa.) of men's volleyball and junior Erin MacLean (Newton, Mass.) of women's track and field have been named Leopards of the Week for the week of February 5-11.
Adding to Wentworth's historic opening to the 2024 season, LaBouliere guided the offense at the Statesmen Volleyball Classic, averaging 15 kills per match across a 3-0 weekend that included wins over two nationally ranked programs. The outside hitter averaged a .511 clip across the weekend and also chipped in with 11 digs and five blocks. In the Leopards' win over GNAC foe Emmanuel four days prior, LaBouliere led with 16 finishes.
MacLean took part in two grand finishes for the Black & Gold at the Lynn Ruddy Invitational, first finishing in second in the 600 meter with a time of 1:52.67. As part of the 4x400 relay team, MacLean helped the Leopards to a fourth-place finish with their final mark being 4:52.81.
