BEVERLY, Mass. – After smashing two more program records at the Jonathan Tymann Invitational, freshman Tati Sicard (Mansfield, Mass.) of the Wentworth Institute of Technology women's outdoor track and field team earned recognition from the Commonwealth Coast Conference league office Tuesday morning. Sicard secured CCC Field Rookie of the Week honors, with the awards are for meets ran across April 1-7.
Sicard etched her name in program history at Gordon, sailing past two program marks in her respective events. The rookie set new program highs in the triple jump (9.12M) and the shot put (9.27M) while finishing fifth and 11th in the two events, respectively.
The Leopards compete next at the Silfen Invitational, taking place at Connecticut College on April 12-13.
