Rogoz Repeats as CCC Women's Volleyball Player of the Week

BOSTON, Mass. – For the second week in a row, junior Leah Rogoz (Woodridge, Ill.) has been selected as the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Women's Volleyball Player of the Week, as announced by the league office.

Rogoz played a pivotal role in the Leopards' 4-1 week, and averaged 3.65 kills, 3.40 digs, and 4.3 points per set. She posted a double-double in four of five matches played, highlighted by 19 kills, 16 digs, and four aces in a five-set thriller against Union. The Leopards went 3-1 at the Union Crosstown Tournament, where Rogoz was named to the All-Tournament Team, and averaged .324 hitting from the weekend. She hit over .400% twice, first in a five-set win over Lasell College, and again in a three-set win over Mount Saint Vincent. 

Collectively, Rogoz registered 73 kills, 11 aces, 68 digs, and 86.5 points. She currently ranks first among CCC opponents with 3.64 kills per set, and second with 131 total kills.

Leopards open conference play on Wednesday when they host Salve Regina for a 7:00 p.m. match.
