Graham Earns CCC Goaltender of the Week Honors

BOSTON, Mass. – After stopping 70 of 73 shots in a pair of ties against Salve Regina this past weekend, Wentworth Institute of Technology sophomore Kenny Graham (Milton, Mass.) has been named Commonwealth Coast Conference Goaltender of the Week for the week ending December 3.

Graham, who posted a save percentage of .959 and had a 1.38 goals against average on the week, matched a career high when he stopped 39 of 41 shots in a 2-2 draw with the Seahawks on Friday night. Fifteen of those saves came in the first period and he saved all four of Salve Regina's shot attempts in overtime. The following night he kept the Seahawks off the scoreboard over the final 53:28 of regulation and all five minutes of overtime and stopped Salve Regina's lone shot in the extra frame which came on a one-timer just before time expired to preserve the 1-1 tie.

Starting five of the six games in which he has played this season, Graham has a 1-2-2 record with a 3.27 goals against average and a .910 save percentage. He has made 30 or more saves in three of his last four appearances.

Wentworth (3-6-3, 2-3-3 CCC) hosts Suffolk on Friday night.
