The Wentworth Institute of Technology golf team wrapped up the 2016-2017 season with competition at the Rich Korzec Memorial Invitational. The event was held at the par 72, 6,620-yard Blackstone National Golf Course.
Wentworth had a seventh-place finish (345), finishing in a field consisting of seven teams and a total of 45 golfers. Freshman Sean L'Italien (Pembroke, Mass.) was the Leopards' medalist as he carded an 83 to finish tied for 21st. Junior Paul Arsenault (Middleton, Mass.) and senior Zach Sousa (Middleboro, Mass.) each tied for 30th after shooting 86. Sophomore Brian Bak (South Hadley, Mass.) tied for 38th in the field after shooting a 90.
Freshman Matthew Pleshaw (Franklin, Mass.) finished tied for 41st as he shot a 92 on the day.
