WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Four members of the Wentworth men's tennis team kicked off the 2012-2013 season by participating in the United States Tennis Association/Intercollegiate Tennis Association Small College Championships, held at Williams College.

Senior Juan Rodriguez (Quito, Ecuador) fell to Middlebury's Courtney Mountainfield in the opening round of singles play, 6-0, 6-3, while freshman James Drum (Madison, Conn.) was topped by UMass Boston's David Hernandez – also in the first round – 6-2, 6-1.

Sophomore Dylan Melnik (Wake Forest, N.C.) and junior Andy Chen (New Taipei City, Taiwan) were defeated in their opening round doubles match by Tufts' Rob Jacobson and Andrew Lutz, 8-0.

The Leopards wrap up the fall portion of their schedule on October 11, at Regis College.
