Paradis, Dufault Honored by CCC

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Junior attack Alec Paradis (Pelham, N.H.) and freshman goalie Adam Dufault (Lexington, Mass.) have been honored by the Commonwealth Coast Conference as the league's offensive player and rookie of the week, respectively. The honors come after Wentworth Institute of Technology men's lacrosse team posted a 3-0 record from March 23-29.

Paradis scored 12 goals and assisted on three others for a 15-point week. He scored four goals in each of the Leopards' three games and had six-points (four goals, two assists) in a 16-10 win over Curry. In his last five contests he has 27 points, which has come on 19 goals and eight assists.

In six games this season Paradis has 20 goals and 12 assists for 32 points and has 81 points on 46 goals and 35 assists in 39 career contests.

Dufault had an 8.14 goals against average and a .593 save percentage to help the Leopards to three wins last week. In a 9-8 win over UMass Dartmouth, he made 12 saves and stopped 14 shots in an 11-10, double-overtime win at the University of New England before closing the week with a nine-save performance in the win over Curry.

Having started all eight games this season, Dufault is 6-2 with a 9.18 goals against average and a .583 save percentage.

Wentworth is 6-2 overall (2-1 CCC) and hosts ninth-ranked Endicott on Tuesday evening.
