BOSTON, Mass. – A trio of players scored five goals apiece, including sophomore Will Jennings (Danvers, Mass.) who also added three assists as the 11th-ranked Endicott College men's lacrosse team defeated Wentworth, 17-5, in Commonwealth Coast Conference action on Sweeney Field.

With the win the Gulls improve to 7-2 overall and 3-0 in league play while the Leopards see their three-game win streak end, falling to 6-3 (2-2).

Endicott wasted little time getting on the board as sophomore Tommy Hughes (Coram, N.Y.) won the opening face-off and fed Jennings, who found senior Nick Pinciaro (Beverly, Mass.) for his first of the contest just seven seconds in. With 9:16 left, senior Ryan Coakley (Flemington, N.J.) scored from junior Alec Paradis (Pelham, N.H.) to even the score.

Senior Keyle Weber (West Hartford, Conn.) scored twice in a span of 1:23 to extend the lead to 11-3 before Paradis tallied a pair of goals to make it 11-5 with 4:44 left in the quarter. A Jennings goal with 3:15 left made it 12-5 and started a 6-0 run over the next 15:14. Weber had three markers in the fourth and Pinciaro added two.

Pinciaro finished with five goals and a pair of assists and Weber had five goals. Morgan had a goal and three assists. Hughes won 18-of-25 at the X and picked up 11 ground balls while junior Fabian Brunner (Niskayuna, N.Y.) caused four turnovers on the night.
