  • The second inning saw the Leopards score four times. Hancock led off with a doble and went to third on a sophomore Jess Rowe (Yardley, Pa.) single. Rowe stole second and sophomore Katelin Howe (Bow, N.H.) followed by reaching on an error which scored Hancock. Pettenger delivered a two-run double to score Rowe and Howe and Beverly drove in Pettenger.
  • An inning later, the Black & Gold put up three runs as Rowe homered, scoring Hancock who had singled and reached second on an error. Howe singled and advanced to second on a groundout and came around to score on a Beverly double. Wentworth scored a pair of runs in the bottom of the fourth, with Hancock driving in a pair of runs with a double.
  • Hancock improved to 6-2 on the season, striking out six over five innings. She helped her cause at the plate by going 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles and two RBI. Beverly was 3-for-3 with two doubles and three RBI. Pettenger and Rowe each had a pair of hits and drove in two runs.
