Eleven from Softball Earn Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete Honors

Louisville, KY. – The National Fastpitch Coaches' Association (NFCA) announced recently the top cumulative grade point averages among NCAA Division I, II, III, Junior Colleges, and NAIA institutions, along with individual Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes. The rankings and honors recognize the academic prowess of softball teams across the Association's membership categories.

The Leopards ranked among the top 100 of over 400 Division III programs with a 3.44 cumulative GPA in 2022-23. 8,297 collegiate student-athletes captured Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors for the academic year, 2,369 from NCAA Division III, with eleven student-athletes being from the Black & Gold. Graduate student Briana Beverly (Pawcatuck, Conn.), graduate student Alexandra Pina (Cumberland, R.I.), senior Kaitlin Pettenger (Budd Lake, N.J.), senior Julia Bollentin (South Kingstown, R.I.), senior Erin Hancock (Holden, Mass.), junior Annabelle Hebard (North Attleboro, Mass.), sophomore Jess Rowe (Yardley, Pa.), sophomore Katelin Howe (Bow, N.H.), sophomore Kayla Richard (High Point, N.C.), freshman Hayley Hines (Lantana, Texas), and freshman Kyla Igawa (Long Beach, Calif.) each finished the 2022-23 academic year with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.
