Dombrowski Tabbed as TCCC Co-Player of the Week

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Junior guard Adam Dombrowski (Dunstable, Mass.) of the Wentworth men's basketball team has been named Co-Player of the Week by The Commonwealth Coast Conference.  Dombrowski becomes the third Leopard to be honored by the conference this season.

In a 2-0 week for Wentworth, Dombrowski averaged 21.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.5 steals per game while shooting 50 percent (12-for-24) from the floor, including going 7-for-15 (.467) from behind the arc.  Dombrowski helped Wentworth end a two-game skid when he scored 21 points on 6-for-11 shooting and dished out a pair of assists in a 70-67 win at Salve Regina and closed out the week with a 21-point, two-assist, three-steal performance in a 76-58 win at Regis.  He was a perfect 11-for-11 from the free throw line.

Dombrowski has started five of the 16 games he has played in for the 10-8 (5-2 TCCC) Leopards and is averaging 10.6 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game while his 31 three pointers rank him second on the team.  Additionally, he is 26-for-29 (.897) from the charity stripe.
