WESTFIELD, Mass. – Junior Eric Anderson (Abington, Mass.) shot a 76 to finish third while sophomore Dante Christofori (Springfield, Mass.) tied for fifth with a 78 to help pace the Wentworth golf team to a second place (out of nine teams) finish at the Westfield State Invitational. Anderson's season-low 76 was one stroke behind second place and seven shots in back of the winning score of 69. Christofori finished in a four-way tie for fifth place with his season low score.

Sophomores Robbie Wells Rogers (Colchester, Vt.) and Brandon Goold (Foxboro, Mass.) each shot an 82 for the Black & Gold, which tied them for 20th place in the 45-player field.

Senior John Romanelli (Acushnet, Mass.) finished tied for 39th with an 88.

The Leopards will compete in the ECAC Division III New England Golf Championship next Saturday and Sunday.
