BOSTON, Mass. – Senior Jacob Dukeshire (Nashua, N.H.) of men's soccer and freshman Kate McLane (Columbus, Ohio) of women's volleyball have been named Leopards of the Week for the week of August 28-September 3.
Dukeshire played a vital role in Wentworth's offense this past weekend, scoring two goals in a tight 3-2 loss to Husson on September 1 before nicking five shots in a 1-0 win over Colby-Sawyer a day later.
In a 3-0 weekend for the Leopards that served as her first collegiate action, McLane was a force, averaging 3.44 kills per set across nine sets and a hitting percentage of .253. She led the team in kills in both matches she played, striking 16 in a five-set win over Simmons on September 1 before adding another 15 in a four-set triumph over WPI a day later.
