BOSTON, Mass. – Junior Tom Gardner (West Windsor, N.J.) of men's lacrosse and senior Jacob Waga (East Northport, N.Y.) have been named Leopards of the Week for the week of February 19-26.
Gardner was a brick wall in goal for Wentworth in an 18-4 thumping of Keene State, posting a career-high 20 saves on 24 shots by the Owls. The junior also recorded eight ground balls, tying the game high.
In a four-set win over conference foe Rivier, Waga was consistent as ever, striking down 11 kills and pitching eight digs. The right-side hitter also stuffed his stat line with two service aces and two blocks.
