BOSTON, Mass. – Senior Jack Chausse (Newport, R.I.) of men's cross country and sophomore Amanda Zweifler (Jersey City, N.J.) of women's volleyball have been named Leopards of the Week for the week of September 25-October 1.
Chausse's top-40 finish at the Keene State Invitational helped the Leopards to a seventh-place finish out of a field of 21 teams. Chausse crossed the finish line with a time of 27:18.4, good for a 40th-place finish in a race featuring over 250 runners.
Zweifler was a jack-of-all-trades for the Black & Gold this week, beginning the week recording 24 digs in a loss to UMass Dartmouth, good for the second-most mark all-time in a three-set match. Three days later, the sophomore dished out 59 assists as a setter in two sweeps over Rivier and Worcester State, to go along with a total of 20 digs, four service aces, and five block assists across six overall sets of work.
