CCC Tabs Paradis as Offensive Player of the Week

BOSTON, Mass. – Coming off a game where she further etched her name in the record books, junior Brooke Paradis (Pelham, N.H.) of the Wentworth Institute of Technology women's lacrosse team has earned Commonwealth Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors. Paradis earns the honor for games played from March 12-18.

In the Leopards' first victory of the season, a 14-8 triumph over Emmanuel, she broke her own program record for goals in a game, scoring eight times. Already the program's all-time leader in goals scored, she became the first player in program history to score 100 or more goals in their career and became the program's all-time points leader, breaking the previous mark of 118.

On the season Paradis has 13 points, which have come on 12 goals and one assist while also winning 22 draw controls in three games. For her career she has 120 points (103 goals, 17 assists), 137 draw controls won, and 91 ground balls.

Wentworth (1-3) is scheduled to host Wheelock on Wednesday.
