BOSTON, Mass. – After helping the Wentworth Institute of Technology women's lacrosse team to a season-opening, 13-12 win over Curry, sophomore midfielder Helen Hamblett (East Boothbay, Maine) has been named the Commonwealth Coast conference Offensive Player of the Week. Hamblett takes home the honor for games played through March 28.
Hamblett recorded career highs in goals (three), assists (four), and points (seven) as the Leopards edged the Colonels. She also scooped up a career-high ground balls (five) and five of the seven shots she took were on net.
Wentworth is at Salve Regina on Wednesday night.
