DANBURY, Conn. – After being named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week, sophomore Alex Potts (Niverville, N.Y.) added another weekly honor to his resume as he has been named the ECAC North Player of the Week for the week ending January 25.

On the defensive side, Potts averaged 1.50 blocks per set, which included seven blocks in a 3-0 win over SUNYIT. He also had five blocks in a 3-0 win over Endicott and a 3-0 triumph over Bard. On the offensive side he hit .511, which included seven kills in a 3-0 win over Vassar and six each in the wins over SUNYIT and Endicott. Through Wentworth's first five matches he is also averaging 0.50 service aces per set and 1.86 kills per set.

Wentworth opens GNAC play on Thursday night when the Leopards host Albertus Magnus at 7:00 p.m.
