Women's Soccer Places Five on Academic All-District Team

BOSTON, Mass. – Five Wentworth Institute of Technology women's soccer student-athletes have been recognized by the College Sports Communicators as Academic All District honorees.

The 2023 Academic All-District® and Women's Soccer Team, selected by CSC, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

In order to be eligible for consideration, student-athletes must meet the following criteria:

  • Student-athletes must be at least a sophomore, eligibility wise.
  • Student-athletes must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average.
  • Student-athletes must have played in at least 90 percent of their team's games or have started in at least 66 percent of their team's games.

Wentworth's five honorees are sophomore Meghan Barilone (Bennington, Vt.), sophomore Jordan Dahan (Kennesaw, Ga.), sophomore Emily Hagen (Ellicott City, Md.), sophomore Erin Londregan (New London, Conn.), and senior Madelyn Seder (Marlborough, Mass.). Seder was also named to the Academic All-District Team a season ago.
