Jameson Named ECAC Northeast Player of the Week

CENTERVILLE, Mass. – Senior defenseman Shaun Jameson (Long Beach, Calif.) of the Wentworth hockey team has been named the ECAC Northeast Player of the Week for the week of January 21-27.

In a 2-0 week for the Leopards, Jameson recorded a goal and four assists for five points. His goal was the game-winning goal in a 4-3 overtime win at Salve Regina in a game where he also had two assists. Earlier in the week he had a pair of assists – including assisting on the game-winning goal – in the Leopards' 4-2, come-from-behind win at Western New England.

Through 19 games for the 10-8-1 Leopards, Jameson is the team's leading point scorer as he has five goals and 14 assists for 19 points. For his career he has amassed 87 points (24 goals, 63 assists) in 95 games.

The Leopards are at Nichols on Wednesday night.
