BEVERLY, Mass. – Back-to-back career performances by junior Tyler Stewart (East Taunton, Mass.) of the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's basketball earned the forward recognition by the Commonwealth Coast Conference Monday afternoon. The 6-6 junior earned Co-Player of the Week honors, his second award this season, for games played January 29-February 4

Stewart began the week dropping a then career-high 32 points in a narrow win over UNE while chipping in with 12 rebounds, two steals and two blocks. Four days later, the junior scored a fresh career-high 36 points in a triumph over Suffolk. Stewart also earned a double-double against the Rams, grabbing 11 rebounds and stuffing the stat sheet with an additional four assists and a block.

The Leopards are 11-10 this season, riding a four-game conference win streak, and host reigning-league champion Nichols on Tuesday evening.
