BOSTON, Mass. – A quartet of Wentworth Institute of Technology men's basketball student-athletes have been honored as members of the 2023-24 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Men's Basketball Team.

The 2023-24 Academic All-District® Men's Basketball Team, selected by CSC, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

In order to be eligible for consideration, student-athletes must meet the following criteria:

  • Student-athletes must be at least a sophomore, eligibility wise.
  • Student-athletes must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average.
  • Student-athletes must have played in at least 90 percent of their team's games or have started in at least 66 percent of their team's games.

Wentworth's four honorees are all from the Class of 2025:  Jack Connell (Walpole, Mass.; Computer Science), Niko Rosich (Chicago, Ill.; Electromechanical Engineering), Nathaniel Smith (Beacon Falls, Conn.; Mechanical Engineering), and Tyler Stewart (East Taunton, Mass.; Computer Science). Connell, Rosich, and Smith were also academic all-district selections a season ago.
