HARTFORD, Conn. – The Wentworth women's volleyball team dropped a pair of matches at Trinity Saturday afternoon, falling to Clark and host Trinity by identical, 3-0 scores.
Wentworth's first match of the afternoon saw the Leopards fall, 25-18, 25-20, 20-18, to Clark. Freshman Julie Rahilly (Nashua, N.H.) had eight kills and 11 digs, while junior Sam Vinciguerra (Somersworth, N.H.) recorded seven kills. Senior Courtney Zink (East Falmouth, Mass.) and freshman Nicole Wetherbee (Pembroke, Mass.) had 11 and 10 digs, respectively, with Zink adding 24 assists.
The host Bantams took the first two sets by 25-7 and 25-5 scores before closing out the match with a 25-20 win in the third set. Sophomore Julie Bruton (Montgomery, Texas) had 11 digs, while Rahilly had 10 digs.
