WINTHROP, Mass. – For the eighth time this season, junior Josh Milke (Eastampton, N.J.) of the No. 3-ranked Wentworth Institute of Technology men's volleyball team received recognition from the Great Northeast Athletic Conference. On Monday, Milke was named GNAC Setter of the Week, with the award being for matches played April 1-7.
Milke lifted the Leopards' offense to a 3-0 week, starting off with a 48-assist performance in a four-set win over Endicott. The junior then dished the rock 44 more times across wins versus Regis and Rivier in the regular season finale and ended the stretch adding in six blocks and four kills.
The No. 3-ranked Leopards wrapped up their historic regular season with a 28-1 record, going 13-1 in league play. The Black & Gold host a GNAC semifinal matchup on Thursday night.
