LaBouliere, Milke, Dunz Honored as AVCA All-Americans

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Three student-athletes from the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's volleyball team earned All-American honors from the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA), as announced by the association Monday afternoon. After guiding the Leopards to arguably their most successful season to date, senior outside hitter Jacob LaBouliere (Pipersville, Pa.) and junior setter Josh Milke (Eastampton, N.J.) were both named First Team AVCA All-Americans while graduate middle hitter Brandon Dunz (Lake View, N.Y.) was named an Honorable Mention AVCA All-American.

LaBouliere was named a first team honoree after being named AVCA Region I's Player of the Year, rocking a 4.30 kills per set rate to go along with a .432 hitting percentage which ranked first in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference. LaBouliere also had 115 digs, 47 blocks, and 29 service aces this season, and became the fourth student-athlete to surpass the 1,000 career kills milestone back on February 15 versus Lasell. In addition, LaBouliere was named the GNAC's Offensive Player of the Year for the second straight season, to the All-League First Team for the third year in a row, and the FrogJump Volleyball's Outside Hitter of the Year for the second straight season.

LaBouliere wraps his career as one of the most accomplished to ever wear the Black & Gold, finishing with 1,235 kills which ranks third all-time in program history. His 4.17 kills per set rate and .414 hitting percentage rank first all-time while the 6-9 outside hitter also totaled 103 service aces, 436 digs, and 145 blocks through 296 career sets played. Additionally, LaBouliere was named a First Team AVCA All-American back in 2022.

Currently leading the country with a dish rate of 10.78 assists per set, Milke earned AVCA All-American honors after being named the GNAC's Setter of the Week eight times in 2024. The junior also had 84 digs and 53 blocks this season. Milke capped the Leopards' regular season earning AVCA All-Region and All-GNAC Second Team honors.

The catalyst for Wentworth's offense, Milke currently rocks a 9.34 assists per set rate, totaling 1653 dishes career-wide, and also has 177 digs and 77 blocks, including 12 solo (8 in 2024).

Dunz earns All-American honors as he led the GNAC with 1.06 blocks per set this season, totaling 83 across 78 sets played. The Lake View, N.Y. native also tacked on 115 kills, 28 digs, and 22 service aces in his lone season with the Leopards. Dunz set a program record on March 9, recording 10 blocks in a 3-0 sweep over then-No.16-ranked UC Santa Cruz. In addition, Dunz was named as an AVCA All-Region honoree as well as the GNAC's Defensive Player of the Year and a member of the All-GNAC Second Team.

Wentworth finished the 2024 campaign with a 31-2 mark, winning their third straight GNAC title while recording their most-ever wins in a season, and hosted three other teams in the NCAA Division III Men's Volleyball Regional Tournament while making an appearance in the quarterfinals for the third season in a row.
