In honor of Black History Month, Wentworth is celebrating some of our notable black student-athletes who have made an impact in their respective sports and in the Wentworth community. Today we highlight junior Alex Moore of the men's soccer team.
Why Wentworth?
- My sister went here and loved it and I was also interested in the co-op opportunity that is so unique to Wentworth in really getting that work experience before I graduated. It's one of the colleges where you will get the most of your money.
Favorite snack?
- Cinnamon Toast Crunch
Your hype song?
- Break the Bank by Schoolboy Q
Do you sing in the shower or in the car? Or both?
- Definitely both, but the acoustics in the shower hit different.
Is there a tradition, event, or food you enjoy with family and/or friends to celebrate your heritage?
- On Christmas each year we try to eat a different main dish
Any game day superstitions?
- The playlist must be perfect and I always have to double sock.
If you could have dinner with anyone in history, who would it be?
- Nikolai Tesla as I'm really fascinated by the work he did and wasn't able to finish.
Could you share something about yourself you would like people to know?
- I consider myself a movie critic based on all of the movies I've seen over time, and there is rarely a moment of my day that is silent. I usually listen to music all throughout the day.
