Black History Month Student-Athlete Spotlight: Brian Howard

In honor of Black History Month, Wentworth is celebrating some of our notable black student-athletes who have made an impact in their respective sports and in the Wentworth community. Today we highlight junior Brian Howard of the men's lacrosse team.

Why Wentworth?

  • For me Boston was an enticing city nonetheless, but also Wentworth offers various intriguing Engineering/STEM programs to indulge in.

Favorite snack?

  • Big Foot chips

Do you sing in the shower or in the car? Or both?

  • In the car

Is there a tradition, event, or food you enjoy with family and/or friends to celebrate your heritage?

  • My family and I celebrate our heritage every day, not just one-month out of the year

Any game day superstitions?

  • The head of my stick doesn't touch the ground unless it's the turf

If you could have dinner with anyone in history, who would it be?

  • As of right now, for sure Serena Williams

Could you share something about yourself you would like people to know?

  • I'm a dual citizen of both the United States and Jamaica
