Black History Month Student-Athlete Spotlight: Ikenna Azums

In honor of Black History Month, Wentworth is celebrating some of our notable black student-athletes who have made an impact in their respective sports and in the Wentworth community. Today we highlight freshman Ikenna Azums of the men's basketball team.

Do you sing in the shower or in the car? Or both?

  • I sing more in the shower

Is there a tradition, event, or food you enjoy with family and/or friends to celebrate your heritage?

  • I enjoy Christmas and Thanksgiving just because my family is all together in one place and we all spend fun and quality time together

Any game day superstitions?

  • I always have to make my first shot of the day and last shot before the tip off.

If you could have dinner with anyone in history, who would it be?

  • I would definitely have dinner with Kobe Bryant or Kevin Durant.

Could you share something about yourself you would like people to know?

  • I try to find something new every day to learn either about myself or the world. Gaining knowledge is great and knowing something new to everyday is special.
