#14 Men's Volleyball Sweeps GNAC Weekly Awards

BOSTON, Mass. – The Wentworth Institute of Technology men's volleyball team continued their dominance across the Great Northeast Athletic Conference this past week as four student-athletes earned weekly honors. Jacob LaBouliere (Pipersville, Pa.) was named the GNAC Offensive Player of the Week for the fourth week in a row, senior Hunter Oshman (Pennington, N.J.) was named GNAC Defensive Player of the Week, sophomore Josh Milke (Eastampton, N.J.) was named the GNAC Setter of the Week for the second week in a row, and freshman Nicolai Bell (Moraga, Calif.) was named GNAC Rookie of the Week. The awards are for games played from March 13-19.

LaBouliere continued his torrid offensive stretch by posting 18 kills in a sweep over North Park before tallying a season-high 26 kills in a four-set win over Rivier. The junior averaged 5.50 kills per set, 2.50 digs per set, and hit .662 across an undefeated trio of matches.

Oshman averaged 1.33 blocks per set across a three-match stretch last weekend, tallying seven total blocks in a four-set win over Rivier on March 18. Offensively, he contributed 3.33 kills per set and a .410 hitting percentage.

Milke earned his second-straight Setter of the Week honor by recording 94 assists across three match wins for the Leopards. The sophomore averaged 10.44 assists per set and 1.22 digs per set.

Bell averaged 1.50 kills per set on an impressive .458 hitting percentage across a 3-0 week. The rookie also averaged 1.13 blocks per set, including four total against Rivier on March 18.

The Black & Gold are 15-6 this season, riding an eleven-match win streak, and host Eastern Nazarene on Tuesday.
