Oshman Named AVCA All-American

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Senior right side hitter Hunter Oshman (Pennington, N.J.) of the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's volleyball team was named as an American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-American, as announced by the association Tuesday. Oshman was named to the second team after earning honorable mention honors last season.

This season, the senior struck down 292 kills across a career high 30 matches, averaging 2.86 kills per set. Oshman also recorded a career high in blocks with 64 and hit .307.

Oshman concludes his career as a Leopard averaging 2.99 kills per set across 70 matches. He also finishes by registering a total of 131 blocks and a hitting percentage of .304.

Following a second-straight GNAC Championship crown, eleventh-seeded Wentworth (27-8) advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament after a four-set win over seventh-seeded St. John Fisher, falling to second-seeded Stevens in four sets in the second round.
